Some run continually other are active for just a few minutes up to an hour. Yes, I guess I could create a MASTER program and load numerous timers but it would get fairly complex and if this program stopped running then all of my processes would die. The solution I have works great ... its just annoying to keep loosing focus.

We use many VFP programs that run via the Windows scheduler. To track their progress, I don't use WAIT WINDOW, I change the _SCREEN.Caption. The programs only show in the task bar, there is no visual aspect other than that. Can't say I've ever seen the focus lost with this method.
