Just trying to see what some old code does, I issued Set Status On... and there it was, old FoxPlus, FP and FPD style status... well, can't really call it a bar, they serve no drinks there.

BUT - I happened to have method editing window open, and guess what: the old FPD style editor status bar was there, in top row of my editing window, with my current row and column, Ins/Over, Num and Caps indicators.

Now the bad news: it works nice as long as you don't use page up to scroll, or mouse wheel. Then you get a ghost copy of this bar of high status... um, status bar high in your window. Well, if you're lucky, you can get one for each tick of your mouse wheel.
[update: and it hides your top line :) ]

But it's sort of nice to know it's there, just say Open Ses... Set Status On, and wham, you can admire the display.
