>>I don't know. The acting was good and the plot entertaining. I liked the action jumping back and forth in time. OTOH it's been a while since I watched a movie so devoid of sympathetic characters. Was there anyone at all we were supposed to be pulling for? I also found the ending unbelievable. A little suspension of disbelief is OK in the movies, it's just hard for me to take it by the bucketful. I guess overall I would say I respected BTDKYD more than enjoyed it.

>I was actually ok with the ending. Other than I think the girl's brother probably would have shot him through the pizza box. I thought it played out ok. The fact that the father went to the same diamond dealer as the son was a bit of a stretch, though that is the only one the son knew probably.

Yes, it's probably the only one he knew. I didn't quite get why Albert Finney (the father) went there after the robbery, though. Did you?

The part I found unbelievable was that he was able to go into an intensive care room, mess around with the monitors and breathing apparatus, smother his son to death, and swan out of there -- shouting "Help!" over his shoulder on the way out! -- without anyone noticing or stopping him. I think ICUs are a bit more attentive than that.
