Among all my pursuits of late, I also have an insurance license in the state of California. What I've discovered is that many carriers are now moving towards capping prescription drug payments. It seems that prescription drugs are driving costs in health care, and to be competitive on price companies are cutting coverage.

You can still get plans that cover all medically necessary drugs. They do cost extra, though.
