On a report, **** are caused by a field too wide to fit in the defined area, a field too wide for the formatting mask, or funky values in calculations.

Things to check ...

- The field that is marked to calculate .. double check that it is a valid number. If it is NULL in one or more records, the calculations can get confused.

- If there is any format mask on the field in the report, temporarily take it off so that the field can print raw

- Temporarily widen the field a lot so you can see what the full number is that prints.
