Microsoft has money for FoxPro but they don't have budget, which is an entirely different thing in the corporate world. It does limit what people can do until the next budget comes out. Of course there are ways of getting around the budget if you want to badly enough, but it isn't just a matter of waving a magic wand and the problem goes away.

I was just wondering what happened to the Yahoo takeover attempt. Steve Ballmer huffed and puffed and issued a deadline. That deadline has now passed, but no news one way or the other (that I have heard).
