>I believe he did know. That was made pretty obvious by his waffling on it so many times. I think he used that church for political purposes all along and then it became clear that it was no longer a stepping stone but a hindrance to his campaign so he finally cut his ties publicly. I just think that he finally did what he should have done when the tirades were first made in church, stand up against the anti-american and racist comments.

Ok, and so tell me how he even shows up on your radar as a possible candidate you could support? If Obama we a "class act", he would have bolted from that church the first time he heard the lunacy. He is just another political opportunist. He uses his race to his benefit, like he used his church. Belonging to that church meant he could network with the other players in the political arena and further his agenda. He is not about the country, he is about Obama. Even so, it appears he and his wife soaked up some of the rev's wisdom while sitting there on Sunday. That is why she said she had never been proud of this country. The constant message from rev wrong was eventually adopted as their own.

I imagine, like many others and me, you will vote for the lesser of evils, otherwise known as John McCain.
