It was a question asked on the original conversion of the projects. I answered 2.0 (since other developers didn't update yet and I don't know about the servers and who is going to install NET Framework there). However, some of the controls are already 3.5 controls (say, UpdatePanel has bunch of new methods), etc.
Anyway, right now I'm running one of the pages I've been working on (and I just added an UpdatePanel to it).
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
