I don't think you're a sap, I just think you're too close to the trees. I prefer to treat politics as a spectator sport. The networks make this much easier with their presentations. It's not nearly as entertaining as football
but it's much nastier.

I think Obama did the right thing responding as he did right now. To some he may be throwing the Reverend under the bus, but in my view, he is taking a stance that he should have taken long ago.
