Makes me wonder... if global warming is such a hoax, why doesn't the White House just let the fad peter out? Why the elaborate coverups, industries pouring millions into financing research which would disprove what EPA et al already had? And why forcing the EPA to fake the numbers, and then falling like a ton of bricks on any whistleblower?

And this "ah but we've had such a cold spring, where's that global warming when you need it" - as if the warming means literally getting the temperature of everything on Earth by half a degree at the same time. I don't see Earth working that way, I rather think the weather is getting out of whack. I remember the highest temperatures back home were about 36 C, and now it's normal to have a week or two when it gets to 40 or even 42 every summer.

Or take the tornados we had here two days ago. There never was such a tornado here (actually, three, if I got that right), specially not this time of year. You can judge the size of the event by the number of hours we were able to watch ad-free TV (NBC local and CBS local) - from about 16:00 until 20:30 or so, and we didn't get in at the beginning either, so my guess is that this was about five or six hours of no-ads. The only two other events of that magnitude, that I remember, were 9/11 and the fall of the space shuttle.

Now you tell me, is weather getting out of whack or not.

BTW, what happened with ozone holes. We used to have periodic reports of their movements. Are they plugged, or what?
