Hi,
Did you check if there is a label size defined that is 1/2 A4 ? If so, you may use the label-writer instead of a report.
I didn't find the label I needed for something, nor a correct page size (A4 that is fed horizontally into a wide matrix printer). If tried many things too, and didn't find a way to get it to work.
Because the data was very simple (just some plain text fields) I printed everything directly to the printer using ???. The code you send to the printer with ??? isn't intercepted by Windows, so you are not limited to a page size. The only problem with this is that you have to send all the printer commands yourself (bold, linefeed, formfeed, ...).
