Hey Guys....I know this isn't Chatter, but I don't think all of you look at the Java forum.

Here's the deal.

Translating a process from VFP 8 to Java that creates a text file and passes it to an external VB executable that fires off a modem, logs into a site and does a file transfer.

Works in VFP -> VB

In Java -> VB

If I pass it the text file created from the Java code, the Modem Interface comes up, dials the number and I see the greeting from the site and it asks for a logon ID and that's where the program sits until it times out.

If I pass it the text file that was created in VFP, it works.

I've reviewed both files in Hex mode and they are exactly the same. Is there something I'm missing?

Any ideas?
