Thanks! Just added Black Books series 1,2,and 3 to my Netflix queue.

I just finish season 4 of Foyle's War. Always had been a Michael Kitchen fan - this whole series is incredibly good. Clever plots, great acting - and I am in love with Honeysuckle Weeks !

Another favorite that I watch once a year or so is the House of Cards trilogy.
(I'd watch Ian Richardson in anything!)

>Black Books is excellent. My favourite bookshop.

>>Have you seen any of "Black Books" - a TV series on UK Channel 4 three or four years ago. Bit over the top but one of the only shows to really make me laugh in the last ten years or so. If it's available on DVD try it...

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
