John,

>I've just purchased MM.NET and am beginning my first project. I'd like to use the DevExpress controls from the start rather than trying to convert later. Initial investigation leads me to think I need to change the MM.Net source code, recompile and go from there (e.g. update MaintenanceForm to use the subclassed buttons, tab control). Am I on the right track and is this the proper approach? What issues would I create for myself doing this?

Which version of MM are you using? MM.Net 2.4 has the Dev Express controls wrapped with MM but I don't think the latest version of mm 3.5 has them ready yet. If you wanted to use the maint form only with devx controls, you might just roll your own as it isn't a big deal.
