I've accidentally ran some FPD2.6 code in VFP and saw that, as opposed to _curobj, VARR() still works. Maybe it could help you to patch it up before converting. VARR() combined with ObjNum()... well, sort of might give you a clue to the value of _curobj.

BTW, in FPD there was some incosistency with _curobj if you had radio buttons or any other kind of buttons group - each button was taken into account as a separate object.
