as I am somewhat of a perf seeker, I'd appreciate if you could inform me about the results - vfp is such a moving target when put under stress (include filling the datasets/opening all cursors, as they consume resources as well) combined with bottleneck factors involving LAN/disk throughput and RAM - having more data points is always good to give better hints in the future<g>.
