Ask and ye shall receive. Here is one study that concludes voter fraud is minimal.

http://www.demos.org/pubs/analysis_voter_fraud.pdf

A paaaage from page 10 of the report:

Voter fraud appears to be very rare in the 12 states examined in that report. Legal and news records turned up little evidence of significant fraud in these states or any indication that fraud is more than a minor problem. Interviews with state officials further confirmed this impression.

>Do you have a link for that? That is absolute nonsense. I'd like to see what idiot wrote that article.

>>Voter fraud is actually a miniscule issue according to research. Saying "We're trying to prevent voter fraud" is just cover for targeting specific groups who have an aggravating tendency to vote the other way.

>>>I agree. Photo ids or ink stains are necessary to prevent voter fraud. The other issue is online voting or voting by the housebound. I know of special groups that go around and take the housebound to vote, but what about online voting (not an issue yet). What about the homeless? Unless they wander in on voting day (which has been known to happen), how do they vote? Are they always disinfranchized? How to prove identity? How to prove you're 18 without a photo id?
