How do I get at the row and column of the blinking cursor in a modi comm window? I also need the selected length so I can map fields by row, col, and length in a text file for importing.

From my modi comm window the user will highlight the data item. When he releases the mouse to indicate end of selected area, I will present a list of possible field names. When he selects one I will grab the row, col, and len and stuff them into my data map dbf.

Currently I'm doing all this from a memo field in a grid but I don't like the auto word wrapping that happens in the memo field. It looks so ragged and highlighting across more than one line is - disjointed.
