Hi again, thanks I pasted the code into the form and saved but I still get the error:

variable PASSWORD is not found. Unbinding object txtpassword. when I run the form

I followed the hyperlink you sent but I am still confused maybe?? when you speak of binding are you talking about the bind controls in the properties of the form. Setting them to false as opposed to true???

I will change the userid to a textbox that makes sense.
