Keith,

I know *nothing* about Tom Rettig's library.

But I can tell you that you will undoubtedly be *VERY* disappointed with the way the "Foundation READ" really works. I would say htat is it "OK" (but only barely) for a few extremely simple screens, but if you have lots of complex screens and the user does what a user will want to do, namely move back and forth between screens and EXPECT to be back EXACTLY where s/he was on returning to a screen, that simply does not happen - YOU have to wite all kinds of code to keep track and put the cursor there.

In my humble opinion the "Foundation READ" was the most over-rated piece of FP ever 'promoted'.

By the way, VFP *is* event-driven by default, without the use of a gimmick like "Foundation READ".

Good luck,

Jim N

I have heard that Mr. Tom Rettig developed a library that enabled true event driven code years ago. Is anyone familiar with his or anyone else's library. If not any suggestions? Thanks.
