Upgrading an app to VFP 9 shouldn't be a huge deal. One shortcut you can take is SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR 70 to keep from getting nailed on no-longer-legal GROUP BY clauses. That isn't the cleanest approach, since the GROUP BY clauses that get nailed weren't right in the first place, but we don't always have the luxury of doing things completely clean....
