>Can you change the caption for each VFP instance? That works for me, and I usually have 6 or 7 VFP environments open at a time.

I probably haven't explained the situation properly.

I have
_screen.Caption = JUSTSTEM(SET("DIRE"))
in a startup program for every relevant instance of VFP. I don't have a problem identifying which instance I want to get to.

However, I occasionally move the command windows around (to see some part of a debug window for example). I'll therefore have several different command windows visible in the right hand monitor. It is not always visually obvious which one of them belongs to the active VFP instance. Clicking on the wrong one is an annoyance, but occasionally a problem if I don't notice and start typing something inappropriate for that instance.

What I'm looking for is some way to be able to tell visually which command window belongs to which VFP instance. My first thought was the caption - but I haven't found a way to modify that. The second is to change the color in the titlebars (VFP and Command Window) but I don't know how to do that either.

Hope that made it more clear. I do appreciate your response.
