One of the ideas would be to have a macro that puts something like

* _screen.caption in the Command window. So, you switched, pressed something (or add Intellisense macro) and it would tell you which what application this window belongs.

in a startup program for every relevant instance of VFP. I don't have a problem identifying which instance I want to get to.
