Thomas Ganss says he isn't entirely happy with such as solution; nor am I. Things to consider include:
  • If the user has more than one login to the computer, he will claim the documents "got lost" (yes, I really saw that happen once).
  • The desktop quickly gets overloaded with just a few documents.
  • How the heck are you going to do a backup?

    A shortcut to a folder is indeed much better.
