VFP will only be a dead horse, when we don't use it anymore. So in case of changing the eula to a more open version, there would be another option for not using VS. From MS view this would be counter productive. ;-)
But you're correct, I forgot that new modified version, so wine isn't a legal option.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
