>If I would design this by myself, I would do few left joins (right now I'm trying to do it in one select by using subtables- I assume this is how Doug is doing it internally - BTW, it would be nice to see the Select statement which is generated to produce a report).
You can: in Step 2 of the Quick Report Wizard, click Advanced, then click Next in the Customize Report dialog that appears to see and edit the SQL statement.
I suggest you attend our weekly Webinar as we cover this and many other things you've asked about.
>My question to Doug - is it possible to somehow create a cursor in Report's DE or add some initial script and use the cursor for the report?
Yes. Again, this is covered in both the Webinar and help file. You can either change the SQL statement generated by Stonefield Query or you can put code into the AfterData event of the report, which allows you to customize the result set retrieved from the database before it's sent to the report.
>I may also try to take the tables home, design reports manually (though I only have VFP8 at home), but then the question becomes how to plag them in either Exceed or Stonefield.
You can add an existing FRX to Stonefield Query by choosing File, New Report and selected the External Report Wizard.
