The problem is that different files are in different directories/subdirectories within the same network drive, so I still end up having to locate a whole bunch of files when I open the project. I guess one of my options would be to open the project from the network as a dbf and get the location from there save it somewhere then copy the project locally and open it as a dbf and replace the location with the saved location info.
