Hi all,
This may or may not be searchable; I unfortunately do not own a subscription so forgive me if this has been beaten to death.
I have an odd behavior that I've been trying to track down for some time now.
Basically, if my mouse cursor is inside the boundaries of the Foxpro window all of our processes (data intensive or not) run faster. If my mouse is outside the window (on screen #2 for example) everything slows down.
As an aside, using an Ole control on a form and holding the mouse cursor inside the boundaries of that tree also slows down performance.
We are not altering the thread priority of fox, nor do we have any mouse-handling code, nor timers. This behavior happens every time it's tried and results in roughly a 50% difference in performance on several different computers.
Any help is appreciated,
Chris
