Can I suggest, if you're restarting anyway, to take this one step at a time? Start with your project as-is (and working). Then add the new classes to your existing project. Then compile and add the control to the toolbox. Then create a new/empty test page and drop your new control on it. Set it's properties to link to the images, then, once you have that working, go ahead and add your new changes. Test it again and once that's working, try to modify your existing project to use the new grid.
