If they want to go to school, they can follow the same requirements as any other person in any other country. If they can, there is nothing to stop anyone from any country from walking across the border with Mexico. To clarify, those children born in this country are citizens and can in fact attend any school and receive the same benefits as you and I. When higher education is free for all citizens, then it can be considered for all others. Until then, no. Even if paying, it is illegal if they are here illegally. They use up slots (and no, you cannot get into any college even if you qualify these days - there are quotas and only so many slots). This whole thing 'just get into the country and then you can do anything and get free education and medical care' is just ridiculous and needs to stop. Those following the rules to get here should get the opportunity
