Thank you. It's crazy. I had previously done all you told me before posting this question, but it didn't work. I looked for other VFP processes running and didn't see one, but I decided to reboot, delete the foxuser.dbf, etc. and then try again per your instructions and now all is well again.

>Go to Tools -> Options -> File Locations -> Resource File and make sure that it's enabled and points to a valid foxuser.dbf. Don't forget to save settings by pressing 'Set As default'. If it doesn't help, delete foxuser.dbf.
