I swear I will never understand the mentality that encourages these people. They've consistently and repeatedly demonstrates their ability to screw up, yet many are inclined to give them an increasing share of control over their lives.
Bring on ethanol; there's sure to be no consequences. Ban DDT; there's sure to be no consequences. Arctic Ice is increasing as is the polar bear population; Quick, list them as threatened, there's sure to be no consequences. It's so nice to live in a country that is so successful that we have to make up problems to get worried about.
