Hi Dave!
In a simple way
Clipper is a computer programming language/compiler for DOS,
for x-base programming.
I think foxpro took the "code language part" (sorry
but I'm not a English language native speaker) from it.
I was a user of Clipper. The reason that I'm
using vfoxpro now is because the migration from
Clipper to vfoxpro is easy: same code structure,
functions, database management (at basic level).
Then Microsoft started improving foxpro and turned it
in what we use now.
Any corrections will be appreciated.
Hope this helped.

>What did this Clipper application do when it worked properly?
