Hello,

I have a PowerPoint Show "PPS" document that is created by PowerPoint 2003 and it has a password protection for it not to be modified. I use shellexec in my VFP application to open the file after my clients click I AGREE on a license agreement. However, If my clients happen to own PowerPoint 2000, they will not be able to open the PPS document because it has a password in it and that feature does not exist in version 2000.

My question is if there are any PowerPoint activex controls I can add to my application that will help me bypass the PowerPoint 2000 problem which is having a PPS document with a password. I have downloaded PowerPoint Viewer 2007 and tried it. It will not work with my application because my clients will open the PPS without clicking on I AGREE on the license agreement. Plus my clients need to find the document in the subfolders of my application to open the PPS document using the viewer.

Any suggestions! Thanks,

Bob
