I looked at my email and saw I got a deleted read receipt from you. I see why, the subject line is empty.
The link "How to Put a Combo Box in a Grid", opens a zip file of tables and forms, no documents.

This is what the email said.
Marcia
I downloaded your file on combo's in grids. I am having trouble figuring out what I am doing wrong.

I started a thread #1318122 that Naomi tried to help me out with but I still can't get the combo in the grid to work in XP.
This works great in Win2k but not in XP.

Pageframe with 7 pages and a grid on each except #5, has 2 grids & only 1 displays depending on a code selected.
All grids are disabled asa well as the columns (user needs to be able to scroll thru records.

VFP 8.0 SP1
column
bound=t
controlsource=product.objcode
currentcontrol=combo
text1 has been removed

combo
boundto=F
controlsource=product.objcode
rowsource = objectcodes
rowsourcetype=2
style=2

Grid.readonly=T && changes to F when Edit button clicked

in XP combo will only dropdown with F4
Cannot select a value in combo with mouse or arrow key, beeps
set column bound=F allow me to select value but it reverts

I do not want the user to be able to edit anything unless the Edit button is clicked.
I would hope that includes dropping down the combo if possible.
