>>Does it really matter at the end
who gets killed as direct result of someone's crazy politics ?

>>Nobody died in US yet, but when human life (and rule of law) get disregarded and devaluated on such massive scales as it is happening lately, then don't get surprised tmrw, if/when some crazy general of yours wipes out entire Time Square or Central Park full of protesters.

>Dude, you've been watching too many movies. And, as to the Saddam question, I believe I've seen reports of over 100,000 Iraqis being killed by Saddam. I doubt that many have died in the war, but even if they have, it's a war. Saddam killed his own people.
Of course I exagerrated; <g>
But when you have human rights bent left and right because of situation created, when you have 'Country at war' state of mind become permanent and prevailing, then don't be so sure that in some period of time (if this maddness continues that is) you wount see some serious internal mess.
As for Saddam causing some 100 000 deaths to Iraqees; You win him
by far; It should be somwhere in ratio of 6:1 by now if not even more.
Who killed who, and on whose behalf is
totally irrelevant.
I would say time for some *change* <g>
(Uups! That aint your party!)
Peace :)
