Jay,

C0000005 is not one particular VFP error but means that VFP's C++ runtime cannot handle something serious and gives up.
It's also a rare thing - many people do not get C0000005 errors often.

IOW, you'd need to find the reason in your particular scenario(s).
Typical causes are for example damaged foxuser.*, corrupted data files, hardware/drivers and network failures.

When you say that it happens with various VFP versions, what do your cases have in common (same Data files, same file server, even same foxuser.* etc.?)
Can you reproduce the GPFs?
Does the mentioned vfpXerr.log point to one certain line in your code?
Does it happen on one PC only and not on others, or various PCs but all in the same network ?
Does it happen at runtime and/or inside the IDE?
And so on..
