Thanks for the big picture. Wonder why is it so easily believable?

Getting practical, I have other questions:

- Do some options present more serious security problems?
- Which alternatives do you think are most frequently enabled in XP computers?
- Which do you use most often?

Thanks again,

Alex

>The big picture is simple. Regardless what you pick it'll be obsolete tomorrow because M$ will come with newest and greatest replacement. Also there's no guaranty that whatever you pick will be available on all Windows versions you support.

First to easily do OS type stuff from VFP apps that do not have a native VFP way such as running PKZIP without getting a black box of RUN command, assigning a letter to a remote drive, etc. I would also like to learn how to do batch files on steroids (Powershell and what other options?).
