Words mean whatever the culture decides they mean, and if it comes to pass that marriage is eventually accepted to mean two people over the age of consent regardless of sexual preference, then that's what it will mean. It may never mean that to you, but that's not really relevant.
I suspect if you had been born 50 years from now instead of when you were, you would have no problem with it at all.
