Is there a way to set InsertParameter in the code-behind?

I'm trying to pass Control's parameter, but for some reason I'm getting this error from SP Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'PersonType'

I'm not sure when the PersonType parameter becomes null, it may be because I try to calculate it in SP.

How can I see it from the SP what I'm passing?
