Hi Terry

Thanks for the advice.

Althouh I have VistaDB installed, for this application I am using SQL Server 2005.
I rebooted to ensure all files were closed etc. Then I really sharpended the pencil on the keys as defined in the app.config i.r.o the connection string.

My app.config keys are: (< > brackets excluded because PUTM complained about them)
databases
add key="Xp_FinMkt\Connection" value="server=JARIDG;uid=sa;pwd=;database=Xp_FinMkt;" /
add key="Xp_FinMkt\DataAccessClass" value="DataAccessSql" /
/databases

I am at the point where I get the same error which now correctly looks for actual database name (Xp_FinMkt) but the BLG is looking for it as a VistaDB database even though my keys specify DataAccessSql

Any ideas on how I can get this to look for SQL Server and not VistaDB

TIA
