Spam, though, never. I can honestly say I have not bought it once. This is a direct result of being fed so much of it as a kid. (As you will recall, that was not an era when kids had much say in what they ate). My mom would make Spam loaf for my dad as a treat -- Spam sliced, drowned in honey and baked. My brothers and I got to share the joy. MANY times. I feel lucky to be here ;-)

Now it's kept in the cubbard and usually only gets pulled out during hurricanes when the power goes out. Although, I must admit that a fried spam sandwich is pretty good :o) A bit salty, but good. Now they have low(er) sodium versions but the sodium content is still pretty high. Perfect food for military marches and physically intensive missions :o)
