I am automating Word 97 from VFP 5.0a.My problem is that I always get a new instance of Word, even if I have a Word instance open and use GetObject("", Word.Application). I want to use the existing Word instance if it exists. I am not having this problem with Excel 97.

I am developing using MS Office 97 on Windows 95.
