I'm sure that this must have been covered before. I'm looking for info on the best approaches in storing and retrieving a couple of thousand JPG picture files that match with items (one to one) in my system, for display both in Forms and in reports. The JPG files can be named to match the item keys.

My first thought is to put them all in a Pictures folder, then to fill in the picture property of my form's image control with the full path name of the appropriate JPG file. At this is my first time working with JPG's, I thought it would be wise to ask for a few thoughts at this point.
