I am creating several Word documents from .NET. We have done that in several projects and all this works fine. However, in this one, when using the XML approach, where there is actually an image, I need to update that with a new image. For the text, it is simple. We simply parse the document, look for specific field names and replace. But, for an image, this is a totally different approach. Has anyone ever done that? From what I understand, there is a placeholder for the image and then, at the end of the document, it get encoded. So, I need to know what kind of encoding is needed in there. I am not sure if I can use the same approach as I use when encoding a file to be included on a Web Service.
