JPG Display Problem
Versions des environnements
As I edit my form, the JPG looks great, but when I run it as an APP or as an EXE, the image looks like it has coffee stains on it, but with green and red coffee.
The jpg (from my user’s camera), is an RGB based jpg, and is normal in all ways that I can determine. Its size is 1200 x 1600 (way too big to show in its full size in my application) so my image control is sized at 162 x 216 to preserve the same aspect ratio. With the image control’s Stretch property set to 1 (Isometric), or to 2 (Stretch), I get the results described above. With Stretch set to 0 (Clip), the problem disappears, but of course I would now only see the top left corner of the image that I want to display.
This display problem shows up on both my Vista machine (with a new screen card) and on my old Xp machine (with an old screen card). It’s as if the real time version of VFP is using its own video driver, and that it’s having some problems, or maybe real-time compression is different than I see in development mode. I’m wondering if it’s that my original image is a large 55 times the area of my display version that’s causing the problem. Any Thoughts?
