>I find this wrong to begin with, simply because I believe that even unsucessfull talks are always better then complete standstill, status quo or even worse slow sliding into eventual (new) conflict (with Iran).
Nothing can stop a prosperous production of enemies - there's always a market for that! Have you forgotten how fast they used to be made in early nineties? Now imagine fifteen years of progress on top of that.

>And he got me completely confused with Chavez! :0).
>Venezuela is now an enemy like Iran, just because Chavez made that Bush stunt at UN ???
Chavez is all they don't like. A democratically elected and popular president who became what he is without having to carry water for the them first (like president Hussein or Shah Reza), and actually repeatedly won elections despite them funding those who opposed him. He actually survived a couple, and the attempt to pinochetize him was unsuccessful.
The other reason that they don't like him here is that his answer to "who owns your oil" is always "I want my share, you will not cheat me" and not what they want to hear (the same reason they don't like Putin).
