I re-read your responses in this thread, and then followed thru a thread you mentioned there which eventually referred to what seemed to be a solution:

Release Window 'form'

However, this solution doesn't help much, in that if there have been any modifications to the form (such as I'm doing in assigning unique IDs), you get the "You wanna save your changes?" prompt. (The thread this came from was related to searching thru a project's files, not modifying them.)

Quite annoying the first time thru a project, but thereafter it'll only prompt for the ones that have new objects.
