I've had quirky things with comboboxes in grids myself....hmmmm.. Can you try to run the builder on the combo box maybe? I've even set a combo box on the form itself, then ran the builder on it, then duplicated all the settings to my combobox in the grid. (I've never got the builder to run when the combobox is already in the grid, VFP looses track of what you're trying to do)
