The MSDN Universal subscription comes with Visual Studio, Office and a huge amount of support material, all MS O/S's and all patches and updates (but only for a year). It seems reasonable value to me, but you might have to sell the second car :-)
It's really about the cost of upgrading Studio and Office combined.
